AFC Leopards will be looking to build on their recent victory when they host Shabana FC at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday afternoon in their third match of the 2026/27 SportPesa League season.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 4:15 PM EAT, with both sides hoping to pick up maximum points as the new campaign gathers pace.
Ingwe head into the encounter on the back of a 2-1 victory over Kenya Police FC, a result that gave them a timely boost after opening their league campaign with a goalless draw against Bandari FC.
Kevinluke Otiala and Ronald Sichenje were on target for AFC Leopards against Police, while Elvis Rupia scored the only goal for the law enforcers.

The victory will give Boniface Ambani’s men confidence as they prepare to face a Shabana side that has proved to be a difficult opponent in recent meetings. Ingwe will be keen to make good use of their home advantage and maintain their positive start to the season.
Ambani believes the win against Police has lifted the mood in his squad and will provide the motivation needed ahead of Sunday’s encounter.
“When a team wins a game, you will get that boost of morale. Just like when you are from war, when you get a win, you feel that your earlier preparations paid off and were not in vain. So it gives you great motivation for the next game, and that’s what I can see in my players, even in how they are training,” Ambani said.
“It was easy, but that win will be a great motivation heading into this match.”
